Hello, this is Prue.  I’m the other half of InnerPrints and I’m so glad to be finally here. (It’s been a long time coming.) This blog gives me an opportunity to celebrate the creative and by creative I don’t just mean artistic.  I’m interested in people, and the lives they’ve created for themselves. I believe that we are all unique in our own extraordinary way and I’m constantly inspired by all the different ways that this self-expression manifests.

There is a beautiful quote by Martha Graham that we’ve adopted because it so perfectly describes what InnerPrints is constantly striving for, not just for ourselves but for others as well.

“There is a vitality, a life-force, an energy, a quickening, that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all of time, this expression is unique.  And if you block it, it will never exist in any other medium.  The world will not have it. “

And in addition, here are some other things I love and will be blogging about in the future:  Design, film making, the hand-made, the magical, beautiful things, creative people, amazing stories.  I’m the curious type, so pretty much everything in-between works for me as well.  So, feel free to comment, you’re welcome to write us notes, emails, love-letters, (even cheques if you feel so moved – we’re undiscriminating:) and we’d love to hear from you.  Welcome to the conversation.  (I’m celebrating with vegan cupcakes from Newtown and the best tea in the world, Ginger Spice from T2)

So here is a new beginning and  what might you expect to see if you drop by our blog regularly?

Here are some thoughts from my perspective ………….

My passion is creativity in all its shapes and forms so  this is one of the threads I will  be exploring with you, including thoughts upon…………..

  • What is the nature of creativity?
  • Who has it and how we can develop it?
  • A  look at how we discount creativity and its impact on our lives and even ignore it within ourselves.
  • I am also interested in exploring how our creative core is linked to the abundance we manifest within the world
  • AND the role that creativity plays in self development.

Did you know that we are now living in the Age of Creativity?  What does that mean for us and how can we expect it to impact our lives?
